WCC AND WCC-ATC SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITY OF LUZON TO STRENGTHEN EDUCATIONAL TIES

World Citi Colleges (WCC) and WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (WCC-ATC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the University of Luzon on December 14, 2022, at AVR 2nd Floor MAB Building, WCC-ATC Binalonan Campus in Pangasinan. 


WCC, WCC-ATC, and the University of Luzon formally inked a joint mission to provide the highest quality of education by establishing a collaborative relationship to strengthen educational, cultural, and scientific ties between the two institutions. 


Both institutions will explore various academic endeavors such as curriculum mapping, co-sponsorship training, webinars, seminars, joint research activities, and other academic pursuits. 


Mr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico, president of World Citi Colleges and WCC Aeronautical and Technological College, said, "We believe that all institutions all around the world, all of us have our own unique strengths and weaknesses as well, but through partnerships and collaborations, we can lessen our weaknesses and strengthen our strengths." Mr. Guico believes this partnership is the commencement of something new and productive. 


In response, the Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs of their respective institutions,  Dr. Aurora Samson-Reyna and Dr. Roger Martinez, expressed their gratitude by ensuring that this collaboration will gear towards excellent service in providing quality education for students. 


Apart from the thousands of board passers, the University of Luzon is the home of topnotchers in the PRCBoard Examinations. It has produced a total of 13 top-notchers in the last five years, ranging from No. 2 to No. 20. The Hall of Fame of board passers of the University includes eight (8) 1st Placers, fifty-seven (57) 2nd to 10th Placers and twenty-seven (27) 11th to 20th Placers in the last ten years. This achievement remains unsurpassed by any school in Northern Luzon.


Present during the signing were the deans of each college of both institutions led by WCC and WCC-ATC top officials. Meanwhile, representatives from the University of Luzon were their VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Aurora Samson-Reyna, Executive Assistant to the President; Mr. Mac Arthur Samson Jr., Director for International Linkages; Mr. Angel S. Reyna, Director for Student Affairs, Mr. Luis Santiago Samson, Dean of Graduate School and Director for Extension Services Dr. Carmelo John Vidal, and HR Officer, Dr. Dolores Bustillo.
