WCC ATC Binalonan donated supplementary learning materials to Senior High School learners of Sta. Catalina Integrated School through a Book Giving Drive held on September 19, 2025.
Conducted under the initiative “Fueling Futures Through Knowledge: Empowering Senior High Learners with Supplementary Books,” the drive brought together the Community Extension Services Office, Senior High School Department, Department of Character Formation, and Unified Council of Aviators.
More than 500 books, consisting of Senior High School textbooks, General Education supplementary books, and fiction books, were donated for 50 Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners. Sta. Catalina Integrated School Principal Ricardo S. Tambogon received the books on behalf of the school.
The donated books provided learners with additional resources for classroom activities, independent study, and further exploration of academic subjects. Through the initiative, the participating offices extended educational assistance to the Sta. Catalina Integrated School community.
The Book Giving Drive supported SDG 4: Quality Education by expanding the learning materials available to participating students. It may also relate to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities if the initiative addressed a documented gap in the school’s access to educational resources.
