The Quality Assurance and Technology Office has organized an exciting activity for students during the Aerolympics 2024, the annual sportsfest of WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) - Binalonan. Each department had four (4) representatives participating in the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Activity. This initiative not only aims to engage students in a fun and interactive way but also to raise awareness about the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The activity emphasizes the importance of adopting sustainable practices, aligning with WCC ATC’s commitment to fostering environmental responsibility within the campus.
The game became an exciting challenge for students, as they answered questions related to the 17 SDGs. The questions covered a range of topics, from WCC ATC’s sustainable practices on campus to nationwide and global efforts in implementing the SDGs, making the activity both engaging and educational.
Among the seven departments that participated in the activity, the Senior High School Department secured the gold medal. This activity not only raised awareness about sustainable practices within the WCC ATC community but also strengthened the implementation of these practices. By sharing valuable information in a fun and engaging way, the event helped students understand the importance of sustainability while enjoying the experience.
