Prioritizing Holistic Health: WCC ATC Conducts Mind, Body, and Balance Seminar for Tourism Students

WCC ATC Tourism students gained practical strategies for maintaining physical wellness and mental clarity through the seminar “Mind, Body, and Balance: Cultivating Holistic Health.” Keynote speaker Ms. Crissa Tuaño, a former Cebu Pacific flight attendant, discussed how daily habits and conscious choices can support overall well-being, particularly within the demands of academic life.

The session encouraged students to view physical and mental wellness as connected parts of a balanced lifestyle. It also reflected the Bachelor of Tourism Management’s broader approach to student development beyond academic instruction. Tourism Student Society Adviser Ms. Sushmita Sen Chan Montano and Tourism Student Society President Mr. Sherwin Dela Cruz led the coordination of the activity.

By promoting healthier lifestyles and informed decision-making, the seminar reflected SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and created educational impact through greater awareness of personal wellness. It also connected well-being with sustainability by encouraging habits that students can carry into their academic and everyday lives.
