Course Description

The operating procedures onboard multi-pilot airplanes differ in many ways from what the pilots get used to when flying single-pilot aircrafts. And for a pilot to operate safely an airplane that requires two pilots, he needs to learn new habits, new skills, and new rules.

The aim of this course is to prepare the pilots for this change in their working environment, thus teaching the foundation of that cooperation - mutual decision making, use of checklist, communication, work load management, cross-checking and support through all phases of flight. These are conducted under normal, abnormal, and emergency circumstances.

These lessons are not usually taught during the type rating training, and more often than not, MCC-course is mandatory before pilots can attend schooling for such. This makes the Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) course an essential requirement for airline pilot employment.

Syllabus

MCC shall be composed of at least 25 hrs in theoretical subjects and 20 hrs in practical training.
A FNPT II (Brand new ALSIM 200MCC) flight simulator shall be used.

Simulator

The purpose of this course is to teach you the concepts of multi-crew cooperation and not the actual crew procedures required for a specific aircraft type; so there is no need to base it on a full-flight simulator.
WCC utilizes a brand new ALSIM 200MCC to conduct this program.

Instructors

To give you the best possible insight into the actual airline operations the course is taught by experienced airline pilots many of whom routinely operate Airbus and Boeing aircraft..

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of two (2) students; and applicants should be holders of a valid CPL license with a current Multi-Engine IFR rating.
